We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Johnson, PE, CFM, LEED AP has been appointed Executive Vice President. As Executive Vice President, Jenn will build upon the strategic leadership and long-term vision she has consistently shown as a member of Nitsch’s Executive Team to position the company for the future. She will continue to serve as Director of Resilience Planning & Design.

Jenn joined Nitsch in 2010 as a civil engineer and has steadily increased her leadership both within the company and in the industry at large. Since shifting onto our Resilience Planning & Design team in 2015, she has been instrumental in that group’s growth and strategic direction, culminating in her promotion to Director of Resilience Planning & Design in early 2023. Jenn became a shareholder in 2017, and has served on the Nitsch Board of Directors since 2020.

Jenn said, “Since joining Nitsch, I’ve had the opportunity to hone my technical expertise, grow my management and leadership skills, and build relationships with people that I respect and trust. I truly enjoy wearing many hats, as both a civil engineer and leader of the Resilience Planning & Design Team, as well as leading strategic growth and corporate culture initiatives. I’m excited that, as Executive Vice President, I will be able to continue contributing to Nitsch’s success in a variety of ways!”

Jenn has 19 years of experience as an engineer, and holds a B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University. She is actively involved in a number of professional societies dedicated to the environment, including the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC/NE), the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA), and the Water Environment Federation (WEF).
