We’re thrilled to share that Nitsch’s 2023 Canstruction Boston design, A BeaCAN of Nourishment, was honored with the Best Original Design award! The Best Original Design award recognizes the structure that creates a lasting impression and shows creativity in its use of cans, imagery, theme, and style.

To honor the theme of “Celebrating New England,” the Nitsch team designed and constructed a lighthouse and keeper’s house sitting on a rocky Atlantic Ocean cove. The structure was brought to life with over 2,600 cans that included critical proteins like tuna, salmon, beans, and peanut butter, as well as vegetables like green beans and corn.
