GivingTuesday – an annual event on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving – helps kicks off the “season of giving” when we all come together to help improve the lives of others. It’s a good day to make that donation you’ve been meaning to make, or sign up to volunteer for a cause you believe in – and it’s a good day to share some of the charities that Nitsch and our employees support!
Last year, we shared a number of charities that Nitsch supports at a corporate level. These 14 non-profits, which you can read about here, work to fight hunger, end homelessness, support engineering education (particularly for girls and people of color who are underrepresented in the field), protect the environment, fight racism, and support the LGBTQ+ community. We invite you to take a look at that list again!
This year, we are highlighting 18 additional charities that our employees (and Nitsch) have supported in the past year as part of our Nitsch Cares charitable giving matching program. These amazing non-profits mean a lot to our employees – and therefore to us! We hope that this list will inspire you to give back today (or in the future) as well!
