Helping Build Kids’ Literacy & STEM Skills

To celebrate our 30th anniversary, Nitsch Engineering combined two things that we’re passionate about: giving back to the community and enjoying each other’s company. In partnership with United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, on Tuesday, September 10th, 100 Nitsch employees worked together to create games and assemble supplies that stimulate learning and build skills. We then packaged these items – along with children’s books focused on infrastructure – into 300 literacy kits!

These kits will be distributed to children between the ages of three and five, to help the children build pre-literacy, math, and social skills – as well as the confidence that will start them off on the right foot as they enter kindergarten!
